Who is &Partners and why do you work with them?
&Partners is our broker-dealer and the wealth management platform that provides us with robust technology, investment capabilities, and compliance support. This partnership allows us to offer institutional-quality resources while maintaining the personal, relational service that defines our practice. Your assets are held in custody at Fidelity, one of the industry’s leading custodians, and Compton Wealth, &Partners, and Fidelity work together to serve you.
What types of clients do you work with?
La Belle Vue works with a variety of individuals, families, and small businesses to help solve for their financial needs. Although their needs are different, we specialize in assisting both career-stage professionals and those near or currently in retirement. Our primary focus is investment management, but we have found that there are significant financial planning opportunities for both of these unique client segments.
What is your fee structure?
Fee structures vary based on the scope of services and assets under management. During an initial conversation, we’ll discuss your specific situation and provide clear information about associated fees. La Belle Vue operates under a fiduciary standard (advisory clients), meaning recommendations are always in your best interest.
Do you only work with clients in Wisconsin?
While most clients live within an hour of the Oconomowoc office, La Belle Vue serves clients throughout the nation. All clients are comfortable meeting virtually using technology, making geography less of a barrier to the planning relationship.
What is your investment philosophy?
La Belle Vue believes that each client deserves a customized investment management solution based on their unique needs and the products/services most appropriate for their particular situation. Portfolios are managed at the household level with special attention given to asset location and tax-efficient implementation.
How often will we meet?
Review frequency is customized to your needs and preferences. Most clients meet at least annually for comprehensive reviews, with more frequent check-ins as needed for specific planning questions, market conditions, or life changes. You can also reach out anytime between scheduled meetings with questions.
Do you work with a team, or will I only work with you?
La Belle Vue is intentionally structured as a sole practitioner practice. Brian is your single point of contact for all financial planning needs, helping ensure consistency, accountability, and personal attention. When specialized situations arise, Brian can leverage professionals within his network, but you’ll always work directly with him.
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
La Belle Vue works particularly well with clients who value education, appreciate analytical depth, and want a planning partner who takes time to help ensure understanding. If you’ve been frustrated by advisors who couldn’t explain their recommendations when you asked detailed questions, or if you want comprehensive planning beyond just investment management, we may be a good fit.
